“Help the child to maintain arousal, regulate emotions, organise their bodies, develop good motor & play skills, build relationships and be successful in any environment are the outcomes of our sensory integration program”.

Our Sensory Integration treatment is an eclectic program that involves sensory, motor, and behavioural dimensions to treat children with Autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, sensory processing disorder, and DCD / Dyspraxia. Disrupt sensory processing can affect all the above dimensions and lead to problematic behaviours.  The core aspect of our sensory Integration program is to help children regulate, organise their bodies, be available for learning and connect with people and the environment. These skills are essential for a child to succeed in any environment, home or school.

Play is the perfect medium for our program to instil confidence, and self-esteem, connect with peers and establish success in day-to-day functioning. For children, our sensory Integration program is about play and having fun. However, our therapist continues to work on the child’s ability to modulate and discriminate senses, maintain arousal and develop good motor planning skills.

A parent is the best coach. Empowering a parent with knowledge and adequate tools will make a huge difference in their child’s developmental journey. The critical part of our program is to coach parents to understand their child’s sensory needs and reasons for their behaviours. We then develop workable home-based strategies that families can implement to help their child achieve optimal arousal, attention to activities, good motor skills, and organised behaviours

Our Therapy Program

The therapy program at our centre is a regular model, i.e. 45 mins of intervention every session. However, the number of sessions per week depends upon the data derived from comprehensive assessment, parent interviews, parent-related questionnaires, and clinical observation.
